Lavender House is a beautifully presented 3 bedroomed holiday home in the historic city of York, sleeping up to 5 guests. Ideally located for exploring the city, the Yorkshire countryside and the pretty coastal towns, Lavender House offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort and classic English style, whether you're seeking a relaxing weekend jaunt, a fun-filled family holiday or a cycling or walking trip. Lavender House retains many of its original features, but provides our guests with all the contemporary touches we know our guests enjoy; including a spacious and modern kitchen, wireless broadband, an iPod docking station and a flat screen television and DVD player. The house is ideally situated close to York Racecourse, and only few minutes walk to the award-winning Rowntree Park, where you can join the East Transpennine Trail, loved by walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike. A fifteen minute walk through the park and along the River Ouse brings you into the heart of York by Clifford's Tower. Alternatively, guests can walk along Bishopthorpe Road into the city centre, passing by the local shops, including The Pig & Pastry; a local delicatessan and cafe popular with York residents.
